AP Exam Rules

DO NOT BRING TO THE EXAM ROOM
  • Backpacks, purses or any type of bags. (They will be placed in the back of the room).
  • Cellular phones, pagers, PDAs, electronic games, CD players, or any other electronic or communication devices.
  • Books, compasses, colored pencils, correction fluid, dictionaries, highlighters, or notes.
  • Scratch paper (notes can be made on portions of the exam booklet).
  • Computers (except as noted for students with disabilities).
  • Calculators (unless it is required for exam).
  • Watches that have an alarm.
  • Portable listening or recording devices- even with headphones.
  • Clothing with subject-related information.
  • Food or drink.
BRING TO THE EXAM ROOM
  • Several sharpened #2 pencils, eraser.
  • A pen with black or dark blue ink.
  • Picture ID.
  • Ruler or straight edge for the AP Physics exam only.
  • Appropriate calculators for the following exams.
  • AP Calculus AB or BC (graphing calculator).
  • AP Statistic (graphing calculator).
  • AP Chemistry, Physics B & C (Calculator)
  • See instructor for appropriate caclulators.
OTHER RULES
  • Student disturbing any part of the exam will be sent to VP’s office and their test will be cancelled. The student will NOT receive a refund and an irregularity form will be sent to the College Board.
  • Students are to remain QUIET and in their SEAT until all exam materials are collected by the proctor. No materials are allowed on desk while waiting for the exam to end.
  • Students need to arrive to the test site 15 minutes before the exam starts. There will be no late admittance.
  • Students who will not be returning to class after the AP exams must be cleared through the attendance office each day of testing.
