Course Description
A college level survey course encompassing United States History from the pre-colonial times through the modern era.
Instructional Goals
- To broaden your experience base and your understanding of contemporary society through the study of American history
- That you will grow personally—developing balanced perspectives, reasoning precisely, and expressing yourself clearly.
- That your AP examination results will reflect this growth.

- Good study habits and conscientiousness in school work.
- Excellent reading skills.
- Ability to express yourself well both verbally and on paper.
- Regular school attendance.
- Desire to embrace tasks that require concentration and effort.
