3-on-3 Lunchtime Basketball : Lunchtime 3-on-3 Basketball registration begins today through Friday. Sign-ups will take place at lunch in the black circle. Only $1 per player!
Celebrate Multicultural Week @ West Hills Library! Learn about world cultures by taking part in our "Passport to the World" activity and enter a raffle to win gift certificates to Rubios, Starbucks and Jamba Juice. This activity will take place all week long.
Native American Performance 5/22 at lunch: The multicultural committee would like to invite all staff and students to come to the Pit on Wednesday, May 22nd at lunch to watch Native American drummers and dancers perform.
Community Forum on Pedestrian Safety & Synthetic Drugs: The El Cajon Police Department is sponsoring a special Community Forum on Pedestrian Safety & Synthetic Drugs on Saturday, June 8 at 4 p.m. at the Ronald Reagan Community Center in El Cajon. Learn more about how these two important topics affect teenagers.
uDress Code Reminderu: With the weather heating up we would like to remind students that spaghetti straps, white ribbed tank tops, short shorts and short skirts, hats and see-through, backless and cropped clothing are all violations of the school dress code. Yearbook- Hey Pack! Don't forget to buy your yearbook online or at the finance office for $100. Yearbook distribution will be here before you know it. (see schedule below) Please make sure you have your student ID with you. You will not receive your yearbook without it. Distribution will be outside of room HE4.
Seniors- Friday May 31 at lunch only
Juniors- Tuesday June 4 at lunch only
Sophomores & Freshman- Wednesday June 5 at lunch only
Last Day Distribution all welcome- Thursday June 6 at lunch only.

Seniors: Please be aware of the following dates and information
Senior Prom ~ Saturday, June 1 at Loew’s Coronado Resort
Prom bids are $50 per person. Parking at Loew's will cost $9
--Deadline for online bid purchases is Monday, May 27th
--Deadline for Guest Pass completion is Tuesday, May 28th
--Last day to buy Prom bids is Thursday, May 30th
Senior Awards ~ Tuesday, June 11 at 6:30 PM in the West Hills Theater
Senior Finals ~ Thursday, June 13 Period 1 (or) 7 & Period 6 Finals (Regular day schedule 7:15 am – 2:45 pm)
Friday, June 14 Period 2 & 4 Finals (Final Schedule 8:14 am – 12:30 pm)
Monday, June 17 Period 3 & 5 Finals (Final Schedule 8:14 am – 12:30pm)
Cap & Gown Pick Up ~ Friday, June 14 at 1:00 in the Gym Foyer. Fines must be paid before picking up your cap & gown. Cap & gowns may be ordered at www.sdgrad.com if you have not yet done so.
Graduation Breakfast & Rehearsal ~ Tuesday, June 18 from 7:45 AM to Noon in the West Hills Gym and Stadium. MANDATORY
Graduation ~ Wednesday, June 19 at 9 a.m., Students should arrive no later than 7:15 AM ~ Grads arrive for Graduation at West Hills Gym – Appropriate, Nice/Dressy Attire – No heels; carry your cap & gown. No additional decorations or accessories are allowed on the cap and gown except those awarded by the school (AVID, Honor Cords, Valedictorian & Salutatorian medals).
If you have additional decorations or have not cleared your fines, you will not walk in graduation! Line up at 8:15 AM -- NO PURSES, BAGS, CELL PHONES, CAR KEYS OR OTHER ITEMS CAN BE CARRIED BY GRADS IN THE CEREMONY. NO BALLOONS ALLOWED IN THE STADIUM.
Parking ~ Each graduate will get one parking pass the day before graduation after attending rehearsal. The parking lot will open for parking passes at 7:00 AM. The parking lot will open for non-pass parking at 8:30 AM. Parking will be available along the West Hills side of Mast Blvd. on a first come first served basis. Please pull as far forward as possible if you are parking along Mast Blvd. No RV’s in the parking lot.
Seating ~ The stadium will be open for seating at 7:15 AM. Seating is on a first come first served basis. Saving large amounts of seats is not allowed. Large parties should arrive together.
Graduation Decorum ~ Graduation is a dignified ceremony and will be stopped and delayed in the event of disruptions including Beach Balls, Air Horns, Shout Outs and other distractions.
