Academic League is a fast-paced quiz bowl type competition between teams of students from schools across the Grossmont District. Questions cover the fine arts, science, literature, math, history, government and current events.

9th and 10th graders participate on the JV team, 11th and 12th graders on the Varsity team.  Matches are a showdown of knowledge and quick reflexes on the buzzer.
