The student senate shall be made up of one member of each fifth period class and an elected representative of each chartered club on campus. Legislative power will be vested in this group.

• Every member of the Senate must be a full time student at West Hills High School.

• The senate shall meet monthly on a scheduled decided upon by the ASB Vice President, ASB Advisor and/or Vice Principal.

The duties of the Student Senate shall be:

1. Bring matters of concern to the attention of the ASB class.

2. To act as a liaison between the ASB class and the members of Student Senate.

3. To act as a voting body, in the event that a demanded impeachment process is deemed necessary.

4. Ratify amendments.
