West Hills High School

The Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) is the accreditation organization for high schools, colleges, and universities in the western part of the United States. Schools are asked to complete a self-study, where they evaluate their philosophies, practices, successes and areas for improvement as a part of the accreditation process, and WASC works to ensure that schools do this in a meaningful and open way.

Accreditation means that a diploma from West Hills High School is a meaningful achievement in a student's next step of education and career plans.

The WASC Visiting Committee last came to West Hills High School  March 18-21, 2018. They  visited classrooms and spoke with administrators, parents, students, and staff. We are proud to announce they accredited West Hills for the maximum term of 6 years. We will next be going through a mid-term visit in the spring of 2021.
