Admission Requirements

4-Year College
Students applying to a 4-year college directly from high school must meet their A-G Requirements. These are the minimum requirements to be eligible to apply to a University Of California (UC) or California State University (CSU) school.
 
 
WHHS Graduation Requirements
Social Science - 4 years
Math - 3 years
Science - 2 years
English - 4 years
World Language or Fine Art - 1 year
Physical Education - 2 years
Electives bring the total to 220 credits
All courses must be passed with a or higher
 
UC/CSU College Eligibility (A-G)
Social Science "A" - 2 years
Math "B" - 3 years / 4 recommended
Science "C" - 2 years / 3 recommended
English "D" - 4 years
World Language "E" (must be same language) - 2 years / 3 recommended
Fine Art "F" - 1 recommended
Approved Elective "G" - 1 recommended 
2-Year/Community College
Students applying to a 2-year or community college directly from high school must meet their high school graduation requirements. 
 
 
Assessments and Testing

Assessments and Testing

For students applying to a 4-year college directly from high school, check with the schools you plan on applying to, in order to determine if you need to take the SAT/ACT tests.
 
For students applying to a 2-year/community college from high school, no entrance tests are required.

Financial Aid

ALL STUDENTS should apply for Financial Aid through FAFSA regardless of if they are planning to attend a 4-year or 2-year college directly after high school! 
 
FAFSA stands for Free Application for Federal Student Aid. The federal government uses this form to determine your eligibility for financial aid, including grants, work-study, scholarships, and loans.
 

How to get started:

1. Both the student and parent/guardian will need to create an FSA ID before completing the FAFSA application. Create your FSA ID here.
2. Submit your FAFSA application
